For the second year running, Geoff Maynard has won the IAC Species Race.  This on the strength of a not over impressive Zander which gave him, as his only Joker, eleven points.

 

Fish of the race was Neil Depledges 23lb pike.

 

Most pathetic entry was Krzystofs freshwater snail which was of course not acceptable - on the grounds of dignity if nothing else.

 

So congratulations again to Geoff. This years victory is different from last year. This year the race was not won by Geoff - but lost by the chasers who did nothing about that Zander.
